The POLSA NEXT LEVEL PRAYER MEETING was more than a program. It was a sacred call, an appointment with divinity. Not organized for publicity. Not assembled for tradition. But orchestrated by the Spirit for transformation.
A DIVINE ATMOSPHERE FROM THE VERY FIRST STEP
Even before the program formally began, there was a weighty silence that filled the air. A kind of holy anticipation. As students began trooping into the venue — some in groups, some quietly by themselves, it became obvious: we were walking into something more than just a gathering.
You could see it on their faces — the expectation, the hunger, the thirst. Conversations were low. Heads were bowed. Some students were already quietly praying. The New SS Hall didn’t feel like a venue. It felt like an upper room, like the Spirit of God had been waiting there for us to arrive.
PRAYER THAT SHOOK THE FOUNDATIONS
When Ministers Emmanuel Micheal and Ebenezer Enyz took the stage, there was no fanfare, they stepped into a room already saturated. Their words were not motivational speeches; they were weapons of warfare. They preached with fire. They prayed with intensity. They declared with authority. And something shifted.
Hands lifted. Eyes shut. Mouths trembling. Knees falling.
Students began to wail, not from sorrow, but from the collision of flesh with divinity. You could see healing taking place. Chains visible only in the spirit were snapping. People who had come in casually were suddenly on their faces, weeping, repenting, surrendering. It was revival. Raw. Uncontrollable. Pure.
Deliverances broke out without altar calls. People were set free in the corners, in the aisles, at the back, at the door.
This was not a performance. It was a purge.
Souls rededicated. Lives restored. Joy returned. Faith reignited.
It was as if God was saying, “This is holy ground. Take your shoes off. I have come to stay.
LEADERS AT THE ALTAR, HONOR MEETS HUNGER
In the midst of the spiritual eruption, a new image of leadership emerged not of titles and power, but of knees and tears.
Her Excellency, Comr. Nnamani Confidence, President of the Political Science Department, stood with hands raised, heart open, eyes closed, completely lost in worship. She wasn’t there to be seen. She came to see God. In her posture, a new kind of leadership was modeled, one anchored in the Spirit.
Comr. Abaneke Peace, Director of Socials and Religious Affairs (Political Science), the woman whose burden birthed this moment, was seen crying silently in the corner during one session. The kind of cry that only those who’ve prayed behind closed doors understand. She poured her soul into this spiritually, emotionally, physically and today, heaven responded.
LEGENDS RETURN, A HOLY HOMECOMING
This move was not limited to the current generation.
It became a reunion of generals, a homecoming of revival carriers.
Among them was none other than Comr. Emmanuel Osuji (Emmii Dre) — SUG President of the First Republic. His presence alone carried spiritual legacy. But he didn’t just attend — he worshipped. He lifted his voice in prayer. He knelt. He engaged. He wasn’t there for show, he was there for fire.
Beside him stood Directors of Information, First and Second Republic Political Juggernauts who once carried this department on their backs, now returning as mentors, fathers, and intercessors. They lifted the hands of the present leaders. They poured prayers into the future. It was Elijah and Elisha in one room.
EXECUTIVES IN THE GLORY, GOVERNMENT BEFORE GOD
The entire executive cabinet of the Political Science Department was in attendance, not out of obligation, but desperation. These leaders came with hearts open.
- The Vice President wept in a corner, hands trembling.
- The Secretary-General could be seen interceding for others.
- The Welfare Director laid on the floor, face down in surrender.
- The Director of Health, Financial Secretary, and PRO all joined in prophetic prayer chains that circled the hall.
And standing like a priest and father among them was the Staff Adviser of the Great Department of Political Science, AIFUE. His presence brought not just credibility, but spiritual weight. He didn’t just watch. He prayed. He covered. He imparted. It was a rare moment of spiritual synergy between faculty and students.
WHAT HAPPENED NEXT BEYOND WORDSThe second wave hit harder. As tongues rose, so did spiritual gifts.
- Prophetic utterances began to break out.
- Word of knowledge was flowing.
- Hearts were being read.
- Callings were confirmed.
People began to testify even before the program ended.
Some said they felt chains break in their minds.
Others shared they hadn’t cried in years until this very day.
Many said they came dry but left drenched in oil.
At one point, the entire hall knelt, spontaneously, weeping. No one told them to.
The glory in the room was too heavy to stand under.
A DEPARTMENT REBORN, A NEW WINEPOURING
This was not a departmental event.
It was not a timetable slot.
It was a visitation.
It was Pentecost in POLSA.
Chains of fear, procrastination, stagnancy, lust, confusion, and pride were shattered. The altar was drenched in tears. But also in newness. In fire. In purpose.
Students left that room speaking differently.
Smiling differently.
Walking in a fresh dimension.
STUDENT REACTIONS, EVIDENCE OF ENCOUNTER
"I haven’t prayed like this in over 3 years. Today, I met God again."
"I walked in with doubt. I’m leaving with direction."
"I didn’t believe in revival… until now."
"This fire… I don’t want it to go out."
POLSA: A NEW ORDER HAS BEGUN
This is no longer the same Political Science Department.
Something has shifted forever.
And there is no going back.
We are no longer just thinkers, we are flames.
We are no longer just debaters, we are intercessors.
We are no longer just politicians in training, we are prophets in motion.
Leadership will no longer be defined by position but by posture.
Our excellence will no longer be measured by grades alone but by grace.
And every meeting, every lecture, every gathering from this day forward, will carry this new aroma of fire.
TO EVERY SOUL THAT CAME…
God saw your steps.
He caught your tears.
He marked your hunger.
And He answered your prayer.
The fire is here.
The revival has begun.
The next level is not a slogan, it is now our new realm.

This is nice 💯
