WORK AND GET PAID IN DOLLAR $ — A DAY THAT REWROTE MANY STUDENTS’ STORIES
Hosted by the President of the Department of Political Science, in collaboration with iWorkremote Digitals, this was more than a digital skills training, it was a revolution of the mind, a shift in direction, and for many, the first step toward breaking the limits of campus-based struggles.
On the 30th of July 2025, the New SS Hall of Alvan Ikoku Federal University of Education wasn’t just a venue, it became a launchpad for destiny.
A DAY THAT DELIVERED MORE THAN PROMISED
The Work and Get Paid in Dollar $ webinar was designed to show students how to earn online using just their phones or laptops — even from their hostel rooms without needing any prior tech experience. But it delivered so much more.
From the moment the event began, it was clear something divine was unfolding. The atmosphere was electric. You could feel the hunger for change in the room. Students from all levels and faculties gathered, eager, curious, and hopeful. Some came confused. Some came discouraged. But by the end, all left inspired, informed, and empowered.
A GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE — AT THE RIGHT TIME
Led by the dynamic Vivian Ozor, founder of iWorkremote, and championed by Her Excellency, Comr. Nnamani Confidence (President, DEPARTMENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE), the event opened up a world of digital opportunities.
Students were introduced to:
Freelancing 101 — what it is, how it works, and how to start.
In-demand digital skills they could learn and monetize right from their rooms.
Real-life stories of Nigerian students earning in dollars from platforms they never imagined.
A step-by-step guide to joining the iWorkremote digital training that has transformed lives across campuses.
FROM DOUBT TO DOLLARS: THE TRANSFORMATION BEGAN
One by one, walls of doubt began to fall. You could hear whispers of shock and wonder:
So this is how people are earning in dollars from Nigeria?
I had no idea I could start without coding or prior knowledge.
This just changed my whole mindset
For some, it was the first time they believed that they could rise beyond their financial struggles, not through shortcuts or empty promises, but through skill, learning, and access to the right knowledge.
YESTERDAY, LIVES CHANGED
The event was a resounding success not just because of the turnout, or the powerful facilitators, or the seamless organization. It succeeded because it planted vision, built capacity, and sparked transformation.
Many left the hall with more than notes.
They left with hope.
They left with direction.
They left with a roadmap to financial freedom.
And that is what true leadership and impact look like — giving people the tools not just to survive, but to thrive.
A SALUTE TO VISIONARY LEADERSHIP
We applaud the President of the Department of Political Science for hosting this monumental event. Your vision gave students the opportunity to discover what they didn’t even know was possible.
To the students who attended, your journey has begun.
To those who missed it, don’t be left behind.
The digital future is here, and it’s calling your name.
July 30th, 2025. A Date Forever Etched in History.
This was more than a webinar.
It was a wake-up call.
A masterclass.
A movement.
And the beginning of new stories — stories paid for in dollars.
